Twinkle Little Star

Little blessings come our way a lot here at Blessings Photography. We had a recent session that will just melt your heart. We have such wonderful customers! We have really enjoyed spending time with the Kemp family. The latest session with their little gal captured our hearts. Talk about personality! We had so much fun with her during her session. We sang and played tea party, dress up, and movie star! She even fed her baby doll a cookie. That just goes to show you how sweet she is! Thank you Sherri and Jeremy for sharing her with us! :)

Summer Senior Sessions - Keep on Heating Up

Our summer senior sessions here at Blessings Photography have been a blast this summer. They sure have been hot though. Temperatures have already been outrageous. It's scary to think about what it will be like in July and August. We have enjoyed photographing 2011 seniors from J.B. Pennington, Cleveland, Douglas, and Oneonta so far. We have many more scheduled both inside Blount County and the surrounding areas including Cullman and Birmingham.
Today we are featuring a senior from Douglas. She is in the Douglas band and plays the saxophone. This girl loves jazz, and I just remembered something too. She was supposed to play us a tune, and we got so busy that we forgot to do that. Elizabeth has the best personality. She didn't even get upset when it rained. We just simply went out in it and shot anyway. It was a little tricky and we all got drenched, but it was well worth it! Thankfully, the rain did go away, and we were able to shoot here some on the farm too later that afternoon.

Bath Time

These boys had a blast splish-splashing in the studio. First it was birthday cake...then a shower...then a bath! Talk about fun! I've never seen two boys laugh so much at me trying to keep water in the washtub. Kids are too much fun!

Senior - Hunting

Well, the time is getting close now for 2009 Seniors! We enjoyed getting to know this young man. He and Nathan had a lot to talk about with hunting. He's coming back soon to get up in the trees for some neat images.

Springtime Girls

These girls were such a joy to be around. They acted like grown ups as they posed for us and played with the entertainment...the baby chicks.

Locker Room

This accomplished young player was a wonderful subject. We had a great time in the studio with him for some unique images. He is a really sweet young man who requested some images just for his mentor, his long time coach at his school.

We have been very blessed to get to know so many seniors from Blount County and surrounding counties this year. Each session was exciting as we tried to capture personalities and style into a session that was fun and meaningful to the seniors. Thanks so much, seniors of 2009. Family from Virginia

We appreciate this sweet family coming to us from Virginia while they were in town visiting relatives. It is always nice to be thought of as the place to go for family portraits for out of town visitors.

This elegant senior is showing some style in this cityscape. Nathan's unique scenes and creativity have been very popular with seniors this year. We take time with each senior and try to incorporate your interests into your senior portraits. Thinking of You

We will be thinking of this sweet young man on Friday as he undergoes surgery on his ears. He is such a sweety, with good looks, smarts, and charm all rolled into one. His sister, who you also see here, is following in his footsteps. She has such an elegant looking face for a little girl. She told me all about The Berenstain Bears the other day.

Little Macho Man

This little hunk is a knock out. He was a little shy at first, but after a little fun...well you can see the results. He has the most beautiful smile and cutest little outfit.

A Mother's Love

There's just something special about a mother's and their sweet babies. All the long hours of hard work raising a child are just worth it when you look at these beautiful blue eyes. It is hard to believe this baby boy will be a year old the next time we see him!

Peek a Boo

This just seemed like the perfect portrait to place on the blog on this below freezing night. That's just what we need tonight our blank-ee! This darling little girl has been such a blessing since we met her several months ago. She did not feel well during her session, but she still came out of her shell to play with us anyway and this "in the moment" portrait was one of my favorite. It is hard to believe we have known her for a year now. She has grown and changed so quickly. I can't wait to see the collage Nathan is going to do of her stages of growth...I'm not going to give away too much now. It is going to be really neat. I will do my best to post it on the blog or website in a few months.

Newborn Beauty

This newborn beauty is a tiny piece of sweetness! Isn't she a doll!! She is already showing out for the camera! We enjoyed getting to meet her for the first time. Congratulations, Ronnie & Cheryl!

I just love this spot for portraits. The colors just really add to the overall feel. This sweet young man was great to work with. We enjoyed getting to know him and his twin brother.
